New Event Feature

Australian Events is proud to announce a new event feature that will take place during the 2017 Farm Fantastic Expo.

Michael Sekulich developed and manages the Australian Horse Academy and will be conducting horsemanship clinics and demonstrations at the Farm Fantastic Expo, based on the teachings of Xenophon, fourth century horseman who’s techniques are widely used today throughout the world including the Germany Cavalry School in Hanover and the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.

Farming Expo returns to its roots

One of Queensland’s largest farming and agricultural events has announced a shift back to its farming field day roots. The 2017 Farm Fantastic Expo to be held at the Caboolture Showgrounds will bring the focus of this major event back to its rural beginnings, with an emphasis on farming, agriculture, livestock, produce and horticulture. The announcement coincides with the launch of the 2017 event which has new dates and will take place from the 30th June to the 2nd July.

IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS

As exhibitors of livestock at Farm Fantastic, you are responsible for all movement and paper work of your livestock in relation to this event. If you are unsure of the documentation needed for movement of livestock in or out of Qld you can contact the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) call centre on 132 523 and speak to your local Stock Inspector/Bio Security Member. DAF advises that there should be minimal contact between livestock and members of the public to reduce bio security hazards. To eliminate risk please make sure there is a hand wash station and/or hand sanitiser dispenser on your stand. Ensure that all visitors and your staff use the facility when entering and exiting your display as this will help prevent risk of any contamination between breeds.
