Michael Sekulich developed and manages the Australian Horse Academy and will be conducting horsemanship clinics and demonstrations at the Farm Fantastic Expo, based on the teachings of Xenophon, fourth century horseman who’s techniques are widely used today throughout the world including the Germany Cavalry School in Hanover and the Spanish Riding School in Vienna.
Claire Bickle is a qualified Brisbane based horticulturist, having a Diploma in Horticulture and an Advanced Design Certificate in Permaculture Design.
She has worked in multiple areas within the horticultural industry for over 20 years. She is currently the president of The Horticultural Media Association of Qld.
Jennifer Hill and Annette Long are sisters, mothers and Grandmothers sharing a lifetime interest in food. We enjoy using seasonal produce and cooking from scratch, limiting packaged and processed foods as much as possible.
In July 2013 we wrote our first cookbook – Back to Basics. We had heard so many people mention that they no longer had the time to cook and we realized there was a need for a basic cookbook that simplified cooking for the family.

Ken Sykes has been involved with working dogs for most of his life. He has managed extensive sheep, goat, and cattle properties in the New England Region of New South Wales, and has worked on and managed sheep, goat, and cattle properties in the traprock region of Queensland.
Paul Plant is a Registered Horticulturist, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Horticulture and is involved in training within Australia and Singapore.
Noel Burdette is a highly respected and well-known Brisbane horticulturist, plantsman, gardener and regular gardening presenter on radio and community television.
Noel has been a regular contributor for several inspiring horticultural publications over the years including Subtropical Gardening magazine, (Searles) About the Garden, Rural press (QLD smart farmer), Gardening Australia magazine and Garden Gurus magazine.
Kerry West from Fruit Salad Tree Company, will be presenting daily at the 2017 Farm Fantastic Expo. Kerry will explain how to bud graft fruit trees, the necessary elements for success and why graft at all! You may like to ‘rework’ a tree you have in your garden! Also, how to grow fruit trees in a pot and their maintenance, plus the special care points of all the Fruit Salad trees.
PLUS Fruit Salad Trees will also be giving away 3 Fruit Salad Trees, one at each of the daily shows !
The 2017 Farm Fantastic Expo will once again feature “Destination Food”, a dedicated pavilion full of local and regional gourmet food and wine producers. The pavilion will house market style sites featuring a range of produce, from locally grown fruit and vegetables, to gourmet foods, wines, cheese and more.
Destination Food will feature local and celebrity chefs, on hand to entertain the crowds throughout the 3 days of the event.
